David Hogan

Dr. Hogan is a specialist in internal medicine and a sub-specialist in geriatric medicine.  He is the Acting Head of the University Division of Geriatric Medicine, Acting Chief of the Regional Division of Geriatric Medicine, Medical Leader for Seniors Health / Calgary Health Region, Medical Director of the Cognitive Assessment Clinic and the Calgary Fall Prevention Clinic as well as the Site Director - Cross Bow, Specialized Geriatric Services, Calgary Health Region.  He works out of the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary Health Region.  A major focus of his practice is the assessment and management of dementia and falls.   Dr. Hogan is Professor and the Brenda Strafford Foundation Chair in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Calgary.  His research interests include dementia/Alzheimer's disease, falls, frailty, geriatric clinical pharmacology, health service research and population therapeutics.
