Norma Stewart
Dr. Stewart is a Professor in the College of Nursing , at the University of Saskatchewan . She has a Master of
Science degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of California , San Francisco (1974), a Master of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan (1976), and a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of British Columbia (1985). She has supervised or served on thesis committees for 50 Master's and PhD students in Nursing, Psychology, and other Health Science disciplines. Her research interest in long-term care settings is on rural health services and the relationship of the social and nonsocial environment to the behavior of elderly residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
