Sue Dopson

Dr. Dopson is a Rhodes Trust Professor in Organizational Behaviour at the Oxford Said Business School at the University of Oxford. She is also a postgraduate tutor, a Reader in Organizational Behaviour and teaches on Management Development programs for various companies and works on the College's Strategic Leadership Program. She is involved in the development of courses for the NHS and a number of research projects in the arena of health care, including the evaluation of projects aimed at improving clinical effectiveness, exploring issues of getting the results of medical research evidence into clinical practice and more general research in the area of NHS management. Dr. Dopson has published on the changes in the management of the NHS, the changing nature of middle management, management careers and developments in public sector management. Before pursuing a research and academic career, she worked as a personnel manager in the NHS.
